Practice Experience
Ashle Baxter is a senior trade analyst with experience in Japanese economic policy and Asian regional economic developments. As part of the Firm's International Trade Practice, he monitors and provides analysis on Asia-Pacific trade issues and developments to sovereign and private clients.  Mr. Baxter regularly conducts research and drafts reports on relevant trade issues, including bilateral trade and investment between the United States and Asia.

Prior to joining White & Case, Mr. Baxter worked as a research associate for Asia and Economic Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington, DC. He has also interned in the Political and Economic Affairs Section of the US Consulate General in Osaka, Japan, where he researched Japanese national and regional economic issues, and worked for a year as an assistant language teacher in Iwate Prefecture, Japan.
