Practice Experience
Angela Daker is a member of the Firm's Disputes Practice Group. Ms. Daker's areas of practice include general commercial litigation, white collar litigation, environmental litigation, and federal, state and local regulatory matters.
Ms. Daker has represented corporate, governmental and individual clients in civil and white collar matters in both federal and state courts throughout the country; federal, state and local regulatory matters and investigations; and internal investigations of national and international clients involving issues of state, federal and international law.
Ms. Daker's environmental matters have involved NEPA, CWA and ESA claims. Among Ms. Daker's white collar criminal experience are cases that have involved FDCA, Lacey Act, bank fraud, bankruptcy fraud, mail fraud, and wire fraud charges. Ms. Daker has also represented clients in a diverse array of civil matters, including securities litigation, consumer class actions, multidistrict litigation and construction defect actions against developers and home builders.
Ms. Daker has handled all phases of litigation, including oral arguments on motions, evidentiary hearings, numerous jury trials and appeals to both federal and state appellate courts.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Daker was an Associate Clinical Professor at the Northwestern University School of Law Bluhm Legal Clinic.
