Alexandre Ippolito is essentially a transactional tax lawyer but he has also developed extensive experience in French corporate law over the years. He principally works on acquisitions in an industrial or private equity context (structuring, identification and management of risks). He has also participated in major group restructurings.

In the context of his on-going relationship with significant industrial groups he has advised his clients on tax litigations such as the qualification of income and business tax for a hotel group, thin capitalization and research tax credit for a pharmaceutical group, withholding tax for a family group, and VAT and intangible assets for a waste management group.

Alexandre has also worked for major banks reviewing acquisition structures in transactions such as, over the past couple of years, Saur, Picard, Rexel, Eutelsat, the French "Plan Cable", Materis, and Pages Jaunes.

Alexandre has developed a significant experience for private clients (controlling families of industrial group or high profile individuals) on estate planning, major restructuring and disposal operations.

In recent years, his clients have also included various investment funds such as Starwood (Méridien and Taittinger transactions), The Carlyle Group, Fondinvest (CDC), SGAM, and Washington Asset Management.
