Practice Experience
Anna Kertesz is an associate in the Firm's Antitrust/Competition Practice Group. Her practice focuses on issues arising under federal antitrust and fair competition laws. Ms. Kertesz has experience in antitrust counseling, transactions and litigation. Ms. Kertesz has represented clients in a variety of industries including shipping, pharmaceuticals, software, foodservice, building materials and chemicals.
Ms. Kertesz also defends clients at trial and before the federal antitrust agencies. Recent representative matters include:
- Successful representation of Stolt-Nielsen in the dismissal of a criminal indictment, enforcing the amnesty agreement previously revoked by the Department of Justice;
- Successful representation of a software company in a Department of Justice merger investigation;
- Successful representation of a company in Federal Trade Commission post-consummation merger investigation; and
- Counseling on antitrust issues raised by mergers & acquisitions and trade associations.
