Practice Experience
Adams C. Lee has practiced in international trade disputes in every aspect of import trade and customs laws since he first joined White & Case in 1995.  In addition to concentrating on trade remedies such as antidumping and countervailing duties, his areas of practice also include customs, foreign investment, international business operations, financial planning and intellectual property.  His cases involve clients in Canada, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and the United States.

With respect to antidumping matters, Mr. Lee has extensive experience representing exporters and US importers in proceedings in the United States, the EU, and other jurisdictions, particularly Chinese exporters in “non-market economy” investigations before the US Department of Commerce and US International Trade Commission.  He has represented multinational clients in industries such as semiconductors, chemicals, steel, plastic, automobile parts, and consumer, agricultural and textile products.

Prior to joining the White & Case, Mr. Lee was an associate with an international law firm in Washington, DC.   Before entering private practice, Mr. Lee served as a law clerk to Judge Richard W. Goldberg of the US Court of International Trade in New York.
