Practice Experience
Adrian Montague is a project finance lawyer who joined White & Case in 2004. Prior to joining White & Case, Adrian worked for a leading finance practice in London engaged in a range of finance, banking and securitisation work.

Representative transactions include:
  • Assisted in the representation of ABC International Bank in connection with the project financing and full refurbishment of the 90-bedroom luxury boutique, Al Waddan Hotel in Libya, this deal is the first limited recourse international financing to fund in Libya;
  • Advising lenders operating in the Russian real estate sector on several real estate financings;
  • Assisting in the representation of an Egyptian project company on the project financing of the US$539 million EBIC Ammonia plant in Egypt;
  • Advising the MLAs financing the development of a container port in Damietta, Egypt;
  • Advising the lead arranger of an US$150 million Indonesian refinancing of transportation barges;
  • Assisting in the representation of the sponsors, Qatar Petroleum and ExxonMobil Qatargas Inc., in relation to the financing for the US$11.2 billion Qatargas II project;
  • Acting for Nederlandse Financierings-Maatschappij Voor Ontwikkelings Laden N.V. in connection with loan facilities for SME lenders in Serbia and Turkey;
  • Acting for the European Investment Bank as a subordinated lender to a development project in the Dominican Republic; and
  • Acting for the European Bank of Reconstruction & Development in respect of secured and unsecured lending in Russia and Eastern Europe.
