Practice Experience
Mr. Mosqueira's practice includes, among other areas, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, securities and banking law.
He has actively participated in several international corporate and financial transactions, including, among others, the acquisition of an insurance company by an affiliate financial group and the merger of said insurance company into another insurance company, the acquisition by a Mexican bank of a conglomerate of financial companies in Panama, the investment by a Mexican bank in a limited purpose financial company and the construction of an international financial group’s main corporate building in Mexico City.
Additionally, he has participated in international equity and project finance transactions, including, among others, the investment by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in a Mexican bank, a transaction in which he was in charge of the due diligence team; and the granting of loans by IFC to several borrowers in various economic sectors such as bus, mining and farming companies and the creation of collateral for said loans.
Before joining White & Case, Mr. Mosqueira worked for a prestigious boutique law firm in Mexico City, concentrated in corporate and financial law.
