Practice Experience
Anne Petitjean has been an associate in the Paris Real Estate Group of White & Case, since 2007. Prior to joining White & Case, she worked in a leading French law firm concentrating in real estate where she concentrated mainly on town planning and urban development law. She was involved in construction transactions (statutory and contractual set-up operations of urban development, management and drafting documents relating to town planning issues, assistance in connection with the instruction and audit of building permits, follow-up of expropriation and preemption procedures).
Ms. Petitjean focuses on the implementation and development of shopping mall projects, the construction of various types of real-estate assets (industrial sites, offices, hotels and residential properties, public facilities). She also advises investors (French or foreign investment funds or listed real estate companies) and French institutions within the framework of the acquisition and transfer of real-estate portfolios.
She is also experienced in transactions relating to public domain occupation, where she advised on urban development transactions in the public maritime domain, which consisted of the realization of real-estate works in the public domain, in particular in the autonomous ports of Marseille and Le Havre.
She has recently been involved in renewable energy projects (wind farms and solar) and is experienced in key stages of such projects (grid access, power purchase agreements, real estate including leases, purchase and easements, town planning and construction issues).
