Ms. Wallsten joined the Firm in 1996 and is active in general corporate matters, with ample practice in mergers and acquisitions, banking and securities, private equity, trusts, real estate, foreign investment and antitrust matters.

She represents Mexican and non-Mexican purchasers, sellers, investors and lenders in start-ups, acquisitions, joint ventures, tourism developments, and financing transactions, including public securities offerings, among others.

Her experience encompasses advising on a wide range of Mexican regulatory matters, especially corporate, securities, antitrust, telecommunications and environmental.  She also works on establishing Mexican subsidiaries, counseling on corporate start-ups, corporate governance and reorganization matters, and preparing and negotiating  agreements.

She has expertise in several fields of industry such as the hotel and tourism industry, telecommunications, waste-handling, banking and other financial services and information technology.
