White & Case Japanese Deal Wins Real Estate Deal of the Year Award

A Japanese real estate deal acted on by White & Case won the Real Estate Deal of the Year award from Asian Legal Business.

White & Case advised Secured Capital Japan Co., Ltd., Japan's leading real estate investment and asset management business, on its purchase of the office portion of Pacific Century Place, a premier class 32-story office building in Tokyo's Marunouchi district.

According to the Nikkei Real Estate Market Report, the acquisition represented Japan's largest real estate transaction deal by value in 2009.
