Eberhard Meincke Awarded Germany's Federal Cross of Merit

Hamburg partner Eberhard Meincke was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit (Bundesverdienstkreuz am Bande) by the President of the Federal Republic of Germany. He was honored for his long-term honorary service as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Bethesda Hospital in Bergedorf and his honorary teaching activity at the Law Faculty of the University of Greifswald, which he helped to reconstruct after the fall of the Berlin Wall. The award was presented to Meincke by the Hamburg Health Senator during a ceremony in the Hamburg City Hall.
