Janusz Fiszer Named Leader in Three Tax Advisor Categories in Poland

White & Case partner Janusz Fiszer of our Warsaw office was named the leader in his field in three categories in the the annual Ranking of Tax Firms and Tax Advisors by Gazeta Prawna, a Polish national economic and legal daily. The three categories were "Mergers and Acquisitions," "International Tax Law," and "Tax Optimization". He was also ranked second in "Income Tax". He was the only person to win three categories and as the individual categories were voted by tax practitioners at the largest Polish consulting firms and law firms, this recognition is ever more notable since it came from his peers.

In addition, White & Case ranked as second among all firms in Poland in the category tax advisory firms with three to nine tax advisors.

The awards were presented on February 11, 2009 at the Polonia Hotel in Warsaw, and published in a special edition of Gazela Prawna on February 12, 2009.
