White & Case won Airfinance Journal's 2008 "Latin America Deal of the Year" for representing Société Générale, acting through its four wholly-owned subsidiaries as lessors, in the structuring and negotiation of the U.S. Ex-Im Bank supported financing of four Boeing aircraft to the Brazilian airline TAM utilizing Italian leases and for representing Calyon, Milan Branch, and Natixis, Milan Branch, in their capacity as accreting (SOAR) lenders in the SOAR loans granted to the lessors.

White & Case partner Victoria Westcott in Paris represented Société Générale and partners Michael Smith and James Hayden in New York represented Calyon and Natixis.
