Thailand Deal Firm of the Year

White & Case has been named Thailand Deal Firm of the Year by the legal publisher Asian Legal Business.

The award was presented to White & Case at the Asian Legal Business Southeast Asia Law Awards held on June 29th, 2007 in Singapore.

In addition, White & Case played a key role on the transaction which was named South East Asian Structured Finance & Securitisation Deal of the Year. On this deal the Firm represented IndoCoal Exports (Cayman), a special purpose vehicle, PT Bumi Resources, the largest coal mining and exporting company in Indonesia, and three of its subsidiaries, in one of the largest Asian private placement transactions to date.

The Asian Legal Business Awards are organized annually and honor complex and innovative legal work completed throughout Asia. Winners are chosen on the basis of industry research, submissions from law firms and a judging panel of in-house counsel.
