Pro Bono Attorney of the Year

White & Case New York associate John Rue has received the Pro Bono Attorney of the Year award from Volunteer Lawyers for Justice, a New Jersey-based organization dedicated to providing free legal services to the poor.

John received the award for his work on behalf of an emotionally disturbed high school girl — a case he took through VLJ less than a week before its scheduled hearing.
