White & Case won Jane’s Transport Finance 2008 "Aircraft Debt Deal of the Year—South America" for representing Avianca in its first export credit supported financing for two Airbus A319 and one Airbus 320 aircraft, which marked the initial financings of their fleet renewal program. The innovative transaction structure was developed by White & Case and involved English, New York State and Panamanian law.
