White & Case Ranked Top Global Bankruptcy Law Firm—Third Year in a Row

For the third year in a row, White & Case ranked in first place in The Deal's 2008 end-of-year bankruptcy league table, which ranks firms by number of active debtor, creditor and other cases.

As of December 31, 2008, The Deal credited White & Case with 785 active cases, placing it far ahead of the second-placed firm with 253 cases. White & Case also topped the same league table in 2006 and 2007.

Düsseldorf-based partner Biner Bähr was named among the top individual bankruptcy lawyers worldwide, ranking third overall with 325 active assignments. Hamburg partners Sven-Holger Undritz and Bettina Schmudde were also ranked in the leading list, with 172 active cases and 69 active cases respectively.
