White & Case's Bank Advisory practice is conducted by a diverse and globally integrated team that works with financial institutions from every sector of the financial services industry to help them deal with the many and varied regulatory and legislative issues that affect their businesses.

The current focus of our Bank Advisory team is to work with our US and non-US financial institution clients in dealing with the challenges and opportunities arising from the recent financial crisis, including the restrictions being imposed upon their proprietary trading, derivatives and investment fund activities.

Our overall focus is to help our clients create sophisticated strategies that safeguard their assets and reputations and enable them to concentrate on pursuing their strategic and fiscal objectives with confidence.

To do this, our Bank Advisory team of more than 120 lawyers located in our offices around the globe work on an integrated basis with many of our other teams, including Bank Finance, China, Derivatives, Disputes, Financial Restructuring and Insolvency, Insurance, Investment Funds, Real Estate, Securities, Tax and White Collar.
