Brice Engel specializes in mergers and acquisitions and real estate law, and has worked at both White & Case's Paris and New York offices.

He regularly advises investment funds and real estate groups, notably on the structuring, financing and acquisition of portfolio properties in Europe.

• Representation of Unibail-Rodamco in 2011 in its acquisition of the Meridien Montparnasse hotel in Paris; 
• Representation of CDC and CNP Assurances in 2010 in the acquisition of two shopping centers in France; 
• Representation of CNP Assurances in 2010 in connection with the acquisition through an OPCI of a tower in La Défense; 
• Representation of Klépierre in 2008 in its €2.7 billion acquisition of Steen & Strøm in Scandinavia; 
• Representation of Klémurs in 2008 in its acquisition of the Défi Mode shops portfolio in France; 
• Assistance to AEW in 2007 in connection with its €650 million acquisition of Casino supermarkets portfolio in France; 
• Representation of BC Partners in 2006 in its €750 million acquisition of Medica nursing homes portfolio in France; 
• Representation of Klépierre in 2006 in its €300 million acquisition of 130 Buffalo Grill restaurants in France; 
• Representation of BNP Paribas in 2006 in its €225 million acquisition through a share deal of the Palais de Hanovre building in Paris; 
• Representation of GE Real Estate France in 2006 in the €350 million acquisition of the Bleecker group portfolio comprising 36 existing assets and developments; and 
• Representation of Klépierre in 2004 and 2005 in the €750 million acquisitions of 21 shopping centers (existing or under development) in Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic.
