Practice Experience
Bibiana Jaimes is a member of the Securities section and has experience in capital markets transactions involving Latin American companies. She represents issuers and underwriters in a wide range of capital markets transactions, including registered public offerings, Rule 144A and Regulation S offerings.
Prior to joining White & Case, Ms. Jaimes was an associate at a leading Colombian firm, where she practiced in a range of areas including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, bank financings, project finance, foreign investment and general corporate matters.

Representing Citigroup and Deutsche Bank in connection with a $288,000,000 registered rights offering to existing US and non-US shareholders by Cresud Sociedad Anónima Comercial, Inmobiliaria, Financiera y Agropecuaria.
Representing Financiera Independencia, S.A.B. de C.V., SOFOM E.N.R. in connection with its international offering of 76,895,000 shares pursuant to exemptions from registration under the Securities Act of 1933.
Representing UBS Securities LLC and Merrill Lynch in connection with a $321,633,566 registered offering of American depositary receipts representing preferred shares of Bancolombia S.A.
Representing UBS Securities LLC and JPMorgan Securities Inc. in connection with a $400,000,000 registered subordinated notes offering by Bancolombia S.A.
