Every year, the Ketchum-Downtown Los Angeles YMCA holds a "Stair Climb to the Top" of the US Bank Tower in Los Angeles as a fundraiser. Funds raised help to promote healthy lifestyles and build strong children, strong families and strong communities. Proceeds from the event directly benefit the YMCA's community programs such as after-school tutoring, teen leadership development, a Montessori preschool and senior fitness programs.

At 1,108 feet, the US Bank Tower, which houses White & Case's Los Angeles office, is the tallest building west of the Mississippi. Climbers raced, walked or crawled up 1,500 steps (75 stories). White & Case personnel who braved the elements and risk life and limb in this year's stair climb include: partners, Patrick Hunnius and Matthew Lewis; associates, Whitney Baugh, Francisco Cabada, Rachel Feldman, Jill Martin, Aalok Sharma and Will Troutman and staff members, David Bojorquez, Doah Kim and Theresa Larsson.
