Career Opportunities in Our Helsinki Office

Working at White & Case

Our success depends on attracting the best people and nurturing their talent, so that we can continue to offer the market-leading legal services that we are known for. As an associate, you will have the opportunity to grow and learn as you work alongside colleagues who are leaders in their field and to build on your skills through both practical experience and our training programs.

We are always looking to recruit aspiring legal talent to develop and to learn with us.

Associate

We work on deals that span multiple jurisdictions and tackle some of the highest-level, most difficult challenges; and we are a single source of advice for our clients. Accordingly, intellectual ability is high on our wish list. But we also look for something more. We want to see ambition and drive, and a genuine interest in high profile corporate and financing transactions. We want to see energy and commitment. And we want people who are at their best when pulling together as part of a team.

Hard work is a reality, considering the complex and global nature of the projects we tackle and clients we work with. And yes, long hours will sometimes be involved. The fact is, we care about what we do, are proud of what we achieve, but equally, we know that when the work is done, it’s done.

We encourage our associates to work on a wide variety of matters and to avoid over-specialization so they acquire a breadth of experience valuable both at the firm and beyond.

Our associates have typically received their academic education at a Finnish university — LL.M. studies and/or international work experience is seen as a clear benefit.

We welcome applications for associates on an ongoing basis.
