Practice Experience
Clare Calver is a partner in the Firm's Banking & Capital Markets group based in Paris. She has acted on a wide range of transactions for banks and borrowers, including acquisition finance, aircraft finance and general syndicated finance.
Clare joined the Firm as a partner in June 2007. Prior to this, she was an associate in the London and Paris offices of another leading international law firm. Examples of recent representations include:
Acting for the mandated lead arrangers of GBP 11bn investment grade acquisition finance facilities for a UK P2P (2009);
Acting for the arranger of export-guaranteed and commercial facilities for five Boeing 737-800 aircraft (2008);
Acting for a Kazakhstan limited liability partnership on its USD 550m secured financing from a syndicate of international and Kazakh lenders (2008);
Acting for the global coordinator of secured acquisition finance facilities for a UK P2P (2007).
