Practice Experience
Ms. Columbres is a commercial litigation associate with experience in complex civil litigation in federal and state courts, as well as white collar and corporate investigations. She has assisted in various securities fraud and common law fraud cases involving banking and complex structured finance transactions.
Ms. Columbres worked on the trial team that represented Mirant Corporation in one of the most significant valuation trials in bankruptcy history. Additionally, she represented a multi-national corporation regarding compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, including conducting an internal investigation in cooperation with the Department of Justice.
Ms. Columbres has represented defendants in pro bono cases involving family and matrimonial law. She also serves as a member of White & Case's Diversity Committee.
