Practice Experience

Christian Kahles' principal areas of practice include environmental law, particularly pollution control law, waste law, energy law and nature protection law. Furthermore, he advises clients in other fields of public law. Mr. Kahle has also special expertise in the field of energy law.

Mr. Kahle joined White & Case in Hamburg in June 2007. Between April 2004 and May 2007 he worked as a scientific assistant at the University of Hamburg in several research projects concerning environmental law, particularly pollution control law.

Mr. Kahle is experienced in managing complex licensing procedures for industrial plants, gasholders, pipelines and landfills. Moreover, he provides advice in M&A transactions with regard to environmental and public law issues.
