Practice Experience
Christopher Kandel is co-head of the Bank Finance group in the Firm's Banking & Capital Markets group in London, specialising in complex international leveraged finance transactions.  He principally represents leading global financial institutions.  His experience includes senior and mezzanine acquisition and leveraged finance; high yield securities; bridge facilities; receivables securitisations and other structured financings; corporate acquisitions and disposals; venture capital; distressed debt trading; and other banking, project finance, export credit agency, capital market and restructuring matters.

He is distinguished in the London market as one of the few lawyers with partner-level experience and expertise in handling leveraged finance matters under both English and US law, and has been recognised by inclusion in Euromoneys Guide to the Worlds Leading Banking Lawyers, Who's Who in the World (Marquis) and Who's Who in Finance and Industry (Marquis).  Christopher has also been named as one of the Hot 100 Lawyers by The Lawyer Magazine.
