Practice Experience
Clara Hainsdorf focuses on all aspects of intellectual property law and information technology for French and international clients.

Her experience includes legal opinions relating to copyright, trademark and patent law, drafting of agreements relating to the acquisition and transfer of technology, trademark, software and know-how licenses, data protection, and litigation relating to trademark, copyright and patent infringement.

Clara's recent experience includes:
  • Advising Hilton and other major hotel operators on intellectual property issues arising out of the opening of hotels in France and elsewhere in Europe;
  • Advising a major French automotive company on patent issues arising out of redundancy programmes;
  • Advising a French publisher on copyright, trademark, licensing and other IP issues including representation in numerous legal proceedings in relation thereto;
  • Advising i-flex Solutions on a major banking group's strategic consumer credit platform project;
  • Advising MMA on intellectual property and data protection issues arising out of the acquisition of Empruntis;
  • Advising various American companies in relation to privacy and personal data management issues, including notification requirements in Europe, intra-group transfers, and export of data to the United States;
  • Representing a major online casino platform operator in trademark and unfair competition proceedings; and
  • Advising a French public legal entity in dispute with a software provider.

Clara joined the Paris office of White & Case in April 2005 after having worked as a litigation lawyer in the New York office of an international US law firm and an intellectual property lawyer in the Paris office of an international English law firm.
