Practice Experience
Charles Moore is an associate in the Firm's Litigation Group. His practice focuses on antitrust litigation and counseling. Mr. Moore also has significant experience in construction and real estate litigation and arbitration, as well as commercial litigation matters. Mr. Moore has represented corporate and individual clients in a variety of litigation and international arbitration matters, as both plaintiff's and defense counsel.
Prior to joining White & Case, Mr. Moore worked at a Minneapolis, Minnesota based law firm, where he handled a variety of antitrust, real estate and commercial litigation matters. Mr. Moore frequently counseled clients with respect to the pre-merger notification requirements of the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as well as other antitrust matters. Additionally, Mr. Moore represented a variety of corporate and individual clients in connection with contract disputes, breach of fiduciary lawsuits, securities fraud claims and disputes related to the construction or financing of commercial and residential property in state and federal court, and in binding arbitration and mediation. He also participated in a special internship program through which he tried several cases to juries.
Prior to practicing in Minneapolis, Mr. Moore practiced at a Washington, DC law firm, where he gained significant experience in commercial litigation and nearly all aspects of the pre-merger notification process, including the preparation of the Hart-Scott-Rodino premerger notification form and responding to Second Requests. Mr. Moore also gained experience in international trade and investment matters, such as the preparation of Exon-Florio merger notification forms and counseling clients with respect to US antidumping and countervailing duty laws.
