Clemens Niedner is a member of White & Case's Bank Finance Practice Group in Frankfurt. His practice concentrates on syndicated lending, acquisition finance, project finance, general banking and restructuring with a particular emphasis on the representation of lead agents and underwriters in leveraged finance transactions. Mr. Niedner also has experience in capital markets including debt and equity capital market products.

Mr. Niedner represents a range of bank and other financial institutions in domestic to multilayered, multijurisdictional cross-border transactions including mezzanine finance, high-yield and PIK note elements. He also represents corporate borrowers and investment funds in a wide range of financing transactions including project finance transactions.

Clients for whom Mr. Niedner has recently acted include Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank/ Dresdner Bank, Barclays, Goldman Sachs, BNP Paribas, Société Générale, Rabobank, HSH, Sal. Oppenheim, WestLB, LBBW, BHF-Bank as well as DZ Bank.

From November 2009 through May 2010, Mr. Niedner worked on a large multinational project finance transaction during a secondment with a leading German corporate in Essen. In 2011 he further deepened his corporate finance experience during a secondment to a leading German Bank in Luxembourg.
