Practice Experience
Edward Attenborough is an associate in the Dispute Resolution group of the firm's London office. Edward’s practice focuses on international arbitration and commercial litigation.

Edward has represented corporate energy sector clients in international arbitrations arising out of major hydrocarbon projects. Edward has also advised banking and corporate clients on litigation proceedings in the Chancery and Queen’s Bench Divisions of the High Court, including on insolvency proceedings and proceedings with a multi-jurisdictional element.

Edward has also advised banking sector clients in relation to settlement negotiations arising out of complex disputes.

Examples of other recent representations include:
  • Advising on a major oil and gas dispute which is currently subject to arbitral proceedings;
  • Acting for a claimant U.S. internet company to identify and take action against an English individual suspected of ‘hacking’ into its computer systems. The company successfully applied to the High Court for a series of injunctions and interim orders against and in relation to the suspected hacker, including several search orders and a freezing injunction;
  • Acting for an English-registered company and its owners in the Companies Court to oppose a disputed winding-up petition; and
  • Advising Weather Investments in relation to the financial restructuring and sale of Wind Hellas.
