Practice Experience

Elisa is an associate in the Project Finance team.

Elisa is involved in the preparation and negotiation of various project agreements, such as concession agreements in respect of infrastructure, energy and mining projects.

She has advised European companies with their investments in OHADA countries in the field of energy and natural resources. Elisa has also advised African governments in the drafting of mineral legislation and model-concession agreements. Moreover, she has acquired experience in renewable energy investments in France, especially regarding the acquisition of wind farms.

Elisa has also represented African governments in different ICC arbitration proceedings related to disputes arising out of mining concessions. Elisa was particularly involved in an ICSID arbitration of a French company and an African State concerning a concession agreement for the distribution of electricity.
