Practice Experience
Elizabeth Feld is an associate in the Firm's Financial Restructuring and Insolvency Group. Ms. Feld's practice includes the representation of debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, and committees in US Chapter 11 reorganization cases and cross-border insolvency proceedings and in out-of-court restructurings.
Matters that she has been involved in include the representation of aircraft finance parties and unsecured creditors in the Delta Air Lines, Inc. Chapter 11 proceedings; the Official Unsecured Bank Committee in the jointly administered Chapter 11 cases of Reliance Financial Services Corporation and Reliance Group Holdings, Inc., insurance holding companies; the sole petitioning creditor in the involuntary bankruptcy proceeding of Euro-American Lodging Corporation; United Pan-Europe Communications N.V., a leading European cable and telecommunications company, as debtor in possession in a successful cross-border restructuring that was administered simultaneously in the US and the Netherlands; a group of issuers of letters of credit supporting pollution control bonds in the Chapter 11 case of Pacific Gas & Electric Company; and secured and unsecured creditors in various other Chapter 11 cases, including Refco, Worldcom, US Airways, KB Toys, GT Brands, Cornerstone Propane and Suprema Specialties.
