Concurrences Review and George Washington University Law School Competition Law Center have shortlisted three articles by White & Case lawyers for the 2023 Antitrust Writing Awards.
The Antitrust Writing Awards "promote competition scholarship and contribute to competition advocacy" by "selecting the best antitrust writings published in the past year." The jury is composed of leading antitrust enforcers, academics and attorneys. Readers may vote for an article by using the voting feature under each article on the awards website. Winners will be announced at the Antitrust Writing Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, in Washington, DC.
The shortlisted Business articles by White & Case lawyers are:
- Unilateral Conduct category: Is It Game Over for PlayStation Store Antitrust Suit? by Robert Milne (New York), Jack Pace (New York), Kevin C. Adam (Boston) and Jaclyn Phillips (Washington, DC)
- Mergers category: The Saudi Arabian Competition Authority announces, following the adoption of the new Merger Review Guidelines, that it has blocked its first deal between two online food-delivery services due to their failure to provide sufficient information to enable the evaluation of the proposed acquisition by Tamer Nagy (Washington, DC), Dr. Tilman Kuhn (Düsseldorf), Strati Sakellariou-Witt (Brussels) and Reem Albakr (Riyadh)
- Digital category: The Intersection of Self-Preferencing and Pricing Practices in the Digital World by Kevin C. Adam (Boston), Juliette Caminade and Christopher Knittel
