Jaime Garcia-Nieto practices EU Law, with special focus on antitrust matters.  His main areas of practice cover horizontal and vertical agreements, abuses of dominant position and merger control.

Jaime has been involved in several EU cartel cases, representing clients during the administrative proceedings before the European Commission.  He has also participated in appeals before the European Courts.

Jaime is regularly involved in Spanish and EU merger notifications, including a Phase II investigation in the market for pulp and paper.

Jaime also covers other areas of EU law, including State aids, environmental law, consumer protection and public procurement law.

Prior to joining White & Case, Jaime worked in Brussels for a leading Spanish law firm, dealing mainly with EU and Spanish competition matters.
