Practice Experience
Günter Kahlert practices as a lawyer and German tax advisor.
He provides companies with tax and corporate law advice in connection with mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and corporate succession planning. Other main areas of his practice are the tax law support and representation of insolvency administrators as well as the defense of tax liability claims.
Günter Kahlert is a lecturer at the Bucerius Law School and member of the editorial advisory board of the German Business Law Journal at the interface between tax and insolvency law.
Prior to joining White & Case, Günter Kahlert worked for several years in an internationally operating auditing company and in a law firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions.
