Practice Experience
Henrikki Harsu is an associate concentrating on corporate and financial transactions, with a particular focus on securities law matters.
Henrikki has represented issuers and underwriters in international securities offerings outside the United States under Regulation S and US offerings under Rule 144A. He has also assisted foreign issuers in the preparation of their annual reports and filings in the United States. In addition, Henrikki has worked on business acquisitions and divestitures in the Nordic region, including public tender offers and mergers.
Recently, Henrikki advised one of the largest Turkish private banks on its debut US bond offering under Rule 144A and the largest financial services group in the Nordic market on the establishment of its US MTN program and subsequent offerings of notes under the program. Henrikki also recently advised the largest independent power producer in Turkey on its initial public offering, represented the underwriters in the initial public offering of a leading Turkish gold mining company, and advised one of the world's leading suppliers of commercial transport solutions, including trucks, construction equipment and buses, on its debut US bond offering under Rule 144A. Henrikki has also advised a NYSE-listed gold producer on its public offering of common stock, represented the underwriters in the initial public offering by the leading integrated telecommunications operator in Turkey and advised on the initial public offerings by, among others, a Bermuda company active in the manufacturing and marketing of branded generic pharmaceuticals, a global provider of process solutions and technologies for the mining and metals industries, and a leading hospitality management company operating in Europe, Middle East and Africa. In addition, Henrikki has represented the arrangers in the establishment of a GMTN program and subsequent offering of notes under the program by the Kazakh state oil and gas company.
Henrikki joined White & Case's Helsinki office in 2004 and, after working in the Firm's London office for two years, moved to the New York office in 2008. Prior to joining White & Case, he worked as a research fellow at the Institute of International Economic Law at the University of Helsinki.
