Practice Experience
Jessica Albrecht is an associate in the Firm’s Banking & Capital Markets group in London.
Jessica's experience includes advising banks and other financial institutions in relation to domestic and cross-border, secured and unsecured, syndicated and bilateral bank financings (including acquisition financings and trade financings).
Jessica also has expertise in advising banks and agents in restructurings.
Representative transactions include:
Represented the Qatar Investment Authority in connection with the investment by its principal holding company of more than US$6 billion in ordinary shares, mandatory convertible securities and perpetual tier 1 capital notes of the Credit Suisse Group AG;
Acting for JPMorgan Europe Limited, as documentation agent and mandated lead arranger, in providing €1.22 billion of acquisition financing to CVC Capital Partners Limited and other minority investors in order to finance the purchase of all outstanding shares and warrants of Fraikin Groupe SAS from Eurazeo and other investors. Fraikin Groupe SAS is the sole shareholder of Fraikin SAS, which operates through subsidiaries a French commercial vehicle hire company with locations in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Poland, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, among others;
Advising Barclays Bank, Goldman Sachs and ING as mandated lead arrangers of the £4.35 billion financing for the proposed acquisition of Anglo-Dutch steelmaker Corus Group plc by Brazilian steelmaker Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (CSN); and
Acting for Treofan Group, a leading BOPP film manufacturer, on a €286 million refinancing of substantially all of its senior bank and mezzanine debt. The refinancing comprised the issuance of €170 million of second lien notes, an approximately €56 million issuance of preferred stock and a new €60 million bank credit facility.
