Mr. Hawk has been with White & Case since 2007 and is a member of the commercial litigation practice group. His practice focuses on labor and employment law, commercial contract disputes, and personal and business torts. Mr. Hawk also has experience in alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Hawk's recent representations include: Representation of a non-profit religious corporation against multiple parties asserting claims for negligent hiring, supervision, and retention, breach of fiduciary duty, vicarious liability, and negligent infliction of emotional distress; Representation of a South American apparel manufacturing corporation asserting a claim for breach of contract against a corporate wholesaler of industrial machinery. The case resulted in a complete judgment for the client; Representation of a South American meat packing corporation asserting claims against a wholesale food distribution corporation for, among other things, breach of contract and breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing. The mediation resulted in a favorable settlement for the client; and Representation of a nationwide automotive services franchisee in connection with a criminal investigation into the conduct of some of its employees. Prior to joining White & Case, Mr. Hawk clerked for the San Francisco District Attorney's Office where he conducted hearings and engaged in extensive motion practice.
