Practice Experience
Jörg Liesenfeld advises issuers and investment banks on the structuring and issue of debt capital markets products on a stand-alone basis or pursuant to issuance programs. He has a focus on structured products, such as certificates, structured bonds and notes with derivate elements.
Mr. Liesenfeld has a wide experience with the issuance of index-, commodity-, equity- and currency-linked certificates as well as inflation-linked and credit-linked bonds.
His practice also includes the advice on the documentation and contractual issues in connection with syndicated bonds as well as the establishment of and ongoing advice on issuance programs (Medium Term Note and Commercial Paper Programs), issues of Pfandbriefe and similar products as well as (structured) Schuldscheine. Mr. Liesenfeld advises on issues related to admissions to listings on stock exchanges and issues in relation to the national and European law on securities prospectuses.
Prior to joining White & Case, Mr. Liesenfeld practiced in the London and Frankfurt office of a major international law firm, including a ten months secondment to a leading US investment bank.
