Practice Experience
Jan-Peter Kecker advises clients in connection with the planning and realization of large shopping centers, office buildings and business premises as well as business parks. He has extensive experience in the area of real estate law, including the law of sales, property law and land register law, procurement law (Contracting Rules for Award of Public Works Contracts/General Contract Conditions for the Performance of Services), building and planning law, law relating to site development as well as corporate law.  Mr. Kecker advises clients in connection with company acquisitions of existing property as well as the development of large real estate projects.

Mr. Kecker’s activity in the area of mergers and acquisitions has become increasingly important.  He has played a key role in numerous large transactions on behalf of banks and investors with values ranging between DM 300 million and DM 1.7 billion.

Mr. Kecker held various positions in the management of Feddersen Laule Ewerwahn Scherzberg Finkelnburg Clemm and was appointed Administrative Partner of the Hamburg office after the merger of the law firm with White & Case.
