Practice Experience

Jan Peter Scharf concentrates in public and public procurement law as well as in advising clients in connection with financing. Mr. Scharf has wide experience in privatizations in the public sector, particularly in the area of public health care and nursing services, waste management and the public utility industry.

He was responsible for advising clients on public procurement law and financing issues within the framework of several privatizations.

Furthermore, Mr. Scharf regularly counsels public contract awarders on requests for bids concerning different waste management and public utility services, which often involves cooperation with engineers.

Finally, Mr. Scharf has wide experience in representing both public contract awarders and bidders in review and appeal proceedings under public procurement law.
