Practice Experience
Jan Peter Scharf practices in public procurement and public commercial law.
He is especially experienced in the public procurement law advice relating to the privatization of public companies as well as public-private partnership projects (PPP), in particular in the areas of building construction, health and care facilities, IT as well as waste management and power supply industry.
Furthermore, Jan Peter Scharf frequently advises public authorities on the tendering procedure for various services, regularly in collaboration with the responsible engineers and professional advisers, for example with regard to the award of outdoor advertising rights. In addition, he has particular expertise in conducting public procurement review and appeal proceedings. He represents both public authorities and bidders.
