Mr. Schechter advises both U.S. and non-U.S. clients with respect to a wide range of domestic and international real estate-related transactions.  Mr. Schechter has extensive experience representing private equity investors in connection with the formation of joint ventures and acquisitions, dispositions, mergers, financings and development of real estate and real estate related assets and companies. Mr. Schechter also represents limited liability companies, partnerships and corporations on general corporate matters.
 
Mr. Schechter's practice routinely requires him to work closely with White & Case lawyers in ancillary areas such as tax, ERISA, bankruptcy, intellectual property, securities and litigation.  Mr. Schechter also works closely with many of the Firm's overseas offices.

Mr. Schechter joined White & Case in early 2005 from another leading international law firm where he worked for several years in the firm's London office.
