Jana Župíková is an associate in the Firm's Banking & Capital Markets Group in London, currently on secondment to the Securities group in New York. Jana's experience covers a variety of structured finance and debt capital markets products, with particular focus on emerging market transactions. Jana has worked on numerous ground-breaking public securitisations (asset-backed and future flow) by commercial bank originators in Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine and Greece. Jana also advises clients in the area of OTC derivatives.

Jana joined White & Case in July 2000, since which time Jana has worked in the Firm's Prague, Paris, London and New York offices.

Representative transactions include:

• Acted for Morgan Stanley as lead manager in a private placement by the Czech Republic of ¥30,000,000,000 2.75% Notes due 2036;
• Acted for BNP Paribas and Lehman Brothers as joint lead managers of the 2006 Slovak Republic EMTN Programme;
• Acted for WestLB and JPMorgan as joint lead managers in the first-ever public future flow securitisation of diversified payment rights (DPRs) in Kazakhstan, in a US$300,000,000 Floating Rate Note issue for JSC Kazkommertsbank, wrapped by AMBAC;
• Acted for OJSC Alfa Bank as originator in a DPR securitisation in Russia, in a U.S.$350,000,000 Series 2006-A Note issue;
• Acted for UBS Limited as arranger, sole lead manager and sole bookrunner in the first-ever public Residential Mortgage-Backed Security (RMBS) securitisation by a Ukrainian bank, in a US$180,000,000 Floating and Fixed Rate Note issue for Closed Joint Stock Company Commercial Bank "PrivatBank"; and
• Acted for Piraeus Bank, S.A. as originator in an asset-backed securitisation in Greece, in a €2,352,200,000 allilohreos-backed floating rate notes issue.
• Acted for Piraeus Bank, S.A. and its subsidiary Piraeus Leases S.A. as originator in connection with an asset-backed securitisation in Greece, in a €539,700,000 finance lease-backed floating rate notes issue.
