Practice Experience
Květoslav Tomáš Krejčí is a Czech advocate and an English solicitor. He has experience in Czech and English law governed mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital markets and bank financing as well as in general corporate matters. Mr. Krejčí heads the continuing legal education in the Prague office and teaches classes at the Charles University.

Banking and Finance
His representations include many substantial syndicated loans and other types of bank financing, including cross-border acquisition financings and structured finance. The representation of CEZ, the largest CEE utility company, is an integral part of his legal advisory work for this client, which includes acting as its counsel in connection with practically all of its credit and guarantee facilities, treasury operations, cash management, and insurance transactions. In this position he regularly negotiates on behalf of this client with leading banks in Prague and London. Mr. Krejčí also provides on-going advisory services to banking entities as well as borrowers in connection with financing. Furthermore, his team structured and implemented several real estate funds.

Capital Markets
Mr. Krejčí is involved in primary issues of securities in domestic and international debt and equity capital markets. For over ten years, he has advised CEZ in connection with their financing transactions, including the latest €500 million Eurobond and EMTN programs. His team also acted for CEZ in connection with its dual listing on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. He was actively involved in a number of groundbreaking transactions in the Czech Republic, including the first Czech domestic bond issue guaranteed by a foreign entity using a special purpose structure as well as the first ever direct issue of bonds in the Czech Republic by a foreign entity. Mr. Krejcí also led the team which implemented the first ever Czech derivatives issuance program for Česká spořitelna, a member of the Erste group. He has also been involved in a number of municipal-financing transactions.

Mergers & Acquisitions
Mr. Krejčí also has considerable experience in advising buyers and sellers in acquisitions of private and public companies including the organization of multi-jurisdictional transactions. He has been recently also involved in the structuring, establishment and organization of joint ventures in Russia.

Pharmaceutical Sector
Mr. Krejčí has significant experience with the pharmaceutical industry. He has thorough knowledge of the industry and vast experience in advising on regulatory issues, pricing and reimbursements. As a member of the White & Case pharmaceutical industry practice group based in Brussels, he is thoroughly familiar with both the Czech and the European regulatory frameworks in the pharmaceutical industry.

Corporate Practice, Japanese Desk
Mr. Krejčí is the head of our operating regional Japanese desk that provides complex legal and tax services to Japanese investors in their native language. As the only advocate practicing law in Japanese, he focuses on investment and greenfield projects and related disputes that require extensive experience in all corporate legal issues.

Litigation
As a part of his continuing work for CEZ, Mr. Krejčí assisted this client in connection with its international arbitration proceedings before the ICC in Paris and continues to represent CEZ in connection with its litigations before Austrian courts and the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg.
