Practice Experience
Kersten Wagner-Cardenal practices in public commercial law.
Since 1989, he has been advising municipal authorities and companies on issues such as organizing infrastructure and involving the private sector. He focuses on waste and wastewater management, energy, housing industry and municipal infrastructure (schools, town halls, swimming pools, etc.). Kersten Wagner-Cardenal is especially experienced in the flexible structuring of tendering processes, also in connection with founding a PPP, awarding rights to advertise on public land (including street furniture) as well as outsourcing and other procurement processes.
In addition, he advises on environmental law, in particular on licensing procedures for power generation plants (power stations, pipelines, gas storage facilities) and waste disposal facilities (waste incineration plants, landfills, mechanical-biological plants and sorting plants). He has many years of experience in structuring licensing procedures and handling objections in line with the legal regulations.
