Practice Experience
Karsten Wöckener advises issuers and investment banks on capital markets law.
He focuses on the issue, underwriting or placement of bonds, Schuldscheine, Pfandbriefe and structured products of any kind as well as the listing of such products, post-admission obligations and regulatory issues. Karsten Wöckener also advises issuers and banks on the establishment and/or updating of Debt Issuance Programmes/EMTN Programmes, Structured Note Programmes and CP Programmes.
Prior to joining White & Case, Karsten Wöckener worked as a trainee in the Global Capital Markets department of a leading German investment bank in New York and Frankfurt as well as the New York office of White & Case. He further deepened the experience already gained during a secondment to a leading US investment bank in the Debt Capital Markets/Transaction Management group in London.
