Practice Experience
Markus Ribbing advises on general corporate and commercial law, mergers & acquisitions and Swedish and international litigation and arbitration.
Markus has experience advising on M&A transactions and corporate matters. He has acted as counsel and co-counsel in a number of litigations and arbitrations concerning construction law, insurance matters and delivery contracts. He has also assisted clients on various commercial contracts and co-operations.
Prior to joining White & Case in 2007, Markus worked for the Swedish Department of Justice and served as a district court law clerk.
His recent experience includes:
- Advising Cidron Intressenter AB, a company indirectly wholly owned by Nordic Capital VII Fund, in its public tender offer for all shares in Sweden-based global industrial equipment manufacturer Munters AB (publ).
- Advising a major power and automation company in relation to a number of insurance claims against an insurance company.
- Advising a large industrial client on long-term cooperation agreements concerning marine construction projects and charter of vessels and equipment.
- Advising a Swedish major construction company in connection with class action litigations.
- Advising a major Eastern European gas company in arbitration over a gas delivery contract.
- Advising a Swedish industrial client in connection with a litigation concerning illegally obtained contracts.
