White & Case Elects 31 New Partners

Global law firm White & Case LLP announced today the promotion of 31 lawyers worldwide to its partnership. The promotions are effective January 1, 2016 and span nine of the Firm's global practices across 15 cities.

Listed by the regions in which they are based, the new partners are:

AMERICAS

Jeannine Acevedo has been named a partner in our Global Project Finance Practice. Based in Miami, she advises commercial banks, multilateral lending agencies, export credit agencies and sovereign states on cross-border project and asset finance transactions.

Jared Danilson has been named a partner in our Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. He counsels clients through a variety of corporate and strategic transactions and related regulatory matters in the insurance industry.

Claire DeLelle has been named a partner in our Global Antitrust Practice. Based in Washington, DC, she advises clients on complex commercial litigations in federal and state courts.

Harrison Denman has been named a partner in our Global Financial Restructuring & Insolvency Practice. Based in New York, he advises clients on both Chapter 11 proceedings and out of court restructurings.

Rachel Feldman has been named a partner in our Global Commercial Litigation Practice. Based in Los Angeles, she advises clients on class actions, contract disputes, business torts and privacy laws.

Dana Foster has been named a partner in our Global Antitrust Practice. Based in Washington, DC, he advises clients on antitrust and general contract dispute litigation.

Francisco Garcia-Naranjo has been named a partner in our Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in Mexico City, he advises clients on corporate law, M&A, joint ventures  and banking.

Álvaro Garza-Galván has been named a partner in our Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in Mexico City, he advises clients on a broad spectrum of matters, including M&A, banking and finance, and securities transactions.

Steven Lutt has been named a partner in our Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in New York, he advises clients on real estate and corporate transactions.

Jonathan Michels has been named a partner in our Global Capital Markets Practice. Based in New York, he advises clients on high yield debt and bridge financings, liability management transactions and other public and private securities offerings.

José Ignacio Segura Alonso has been named a partner in our Global Project Finance Practice. Based in Mexico City, he advises clients on project finance and general corporate matters, including public-private partnerships. He has been actively involved in matters related to Mexico's recently enacted energy reforms.

EUROPE, MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA

Edward Attenborough has been named a partner in our Global Commercial Litigation Practice. Based in London, he advises clients on international arbitration and commercial litigation across the energy, financial services and defense sectors.

Julian Bailey has been named a partner in our Global International Arbitration Practice. Currently based in London, Julian will relocate to Doha. He advises clients on contentious international construction and infrastructure projects. 

Nathalie Colin has been named a partner in our Global Commercial Litigation Practice. Based in Brussels, she advises clients on cross-border and domestic litigation in the banking and corporate sectors.

Clare Connellan has been named a partner in our Global International Arbitration Practice. Based in London, she advises a broad range of clients on resolving complex disputes.

Rory Hishon has been named a partner in our Global Commercial Litigation Practice. Based in London, he advises corporate and banking clients on international and domestic commercial litigation and arbitration matters.

Pavel Kornilov has been named a partner in our Global Project Finance Practice. Based in Astana, he advises clients on project finance and banking transactions, including structured products, synthetic securitizations and credit and equity derivatives.

Victoria Landsbert has been named a partner in our Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in London, she advises clients on commercial real estate finance transactions and acquisitions of portfolios of non-performing loans.

Oscar Liljeson has been named a partner in our Global Banking Practice. Based in Stockholm, he advises clients on leveraged finance transactions, acting for sponsors, their portfolio companies and other borrowers.

Markus Mette has been named a partner in our Global Intellectual Property Practice. Based in Hamburg, he advises clients on intellectual property law and information technology issues, especially trademark, competition, copyright and Internet law.

Alena Naatz has been named a partner in our Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in Prague, she advises clients on M&A, private equity investments and commercial law, including corporate matters.

Elizabeth Oger-Gross has been named a partner in our Global International Arbitration Practice. Based in Paris, she advises clients on commercial, investment and construction arbitration.

Emma Parr has been named a partner in our Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in London, she advises on private equity with an emphasis on portfolio assistance.

Adam Pierson has been named a partner in our Global Project Finance Practice. Based in Riyadh, he advises sponsors, contractors, lenders and governments on large, complex infrastructure and project finance transactions.

Carina Radford has been named a partner in our Global Project Finance Practice. Based in London, she advises clients on project finance matters and structured financings.

Hendrik Röger has been named a partner in our Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in Hamburg, he advises clients on labor law in restructuring and insolvency scenarios.

Vanessa Schürmann has been named a partner in our Global Banking Practice. Based in Frankfurt, she advises private equity investors, corporates, financial institutions and alternative capital providers on cross-border finance transactions, including leveraged finance and acquisition finance, under English law.

François-Guilhem Vaissier has been named a partner in our Global Project Finance Practice. Based in Paris, he advises clients on the structuring and financing of infrastructure, industrial and energy projects.

Andreas Wieland has been named a partner in our Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in Frankfurt, he advises clients on German and European bank regulation and supervision, working closely with banks, investment firms and other financial institutions.

Ben Wilkinson has been named a partner in our Global Banking Practice. Based in London, he advises clients on leveraged finance transactions and general bank lending.

ASIA

Mizuho Yamada has been named a partner in our Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in Tokyo, he advises clients on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions in Japan, including hotel-related transactions.
