Arbitration Specialist Chosen as ABA President
February 19, 2008, Global Arbitration Review
White & Case International Arbitration partner Carolyn Lamm has been named president-elect nominee of the American Bar Association. She will become president of the association in August 2009. During her time in office, Lamm says she wants to increase membership in the association, especially among younger lawyers, sole practitioners and attorneys at smaller firms.
"It is also personally important to me to promote diversity within the legal profession, increase advocacy to assure access to justice and to protect the rule of law," she added.
Lamm's nomination has received significant coverage, including interviews with Legal Times, Biznow, Chicago Daily Law Bulletin, and the ABA Journal.
