Nicolas Huet specializes in mergers and acquisitions: assistance mainly to investment funds for acquisition or restructuring operations, conduct of due diligences, drafting and negotiating of acquisition documentation relating to share or assets deals; assistance in corporate law and contracts law.

Between September 2000 and October 2002, Nicolas Huet was general counsel of the Genoyer Group, an industrial group controlled by the Carlyle Group. Such group is based in France and has branches and factories in 15 countries and employed in 2002 approximately 1,800 persons (manufacturing and trading of oil and gas industry equipment).

In cooperation with the bank/finance department, Nicolas Huet often advises senior or mezzanine lenders in connection with due diligence work and review of the acquisition structure or documentation in connection with the setting up of financing.

Nicolas Huet has participated in capital markets projects such as tender offers and issue of shares or notes. Nicolas Huet provides assistance to companies listed in France in relation to corporate and M&A issues.
